For a protocol to be trustless, the protocol needs to distribute ownership over a broad network of people, not a handful of privileged individuals. Otherwise your money is managed by a small group of people, just like in centralized finance.
TCP introduces three concepts that incentivize broad community ownership.
TCP allocates 20% of TCP tokens to users participating in Genesis, giving an equal number of tokens to participants regardless of how much capital they are able add to the system.
TCP tokens are either held by the community, or they are held by the Foundation. The Foundation can never mint tokens beyond the number defined at protocol launch, and is bound to use the tokens according to DAO vote.
